STEELMAN Wireless ChassisEAR 2 (SKU 60605) is the updated wireless kit for squeaks, knocks and vibration on the engine, axles and chassis. Four transmitters with piezo clamps go on different points; you compare channels on the receiver during a road test.
The receiver has a 4.3″ colour touchscreen. Transmitters switch across six channels; each can be listened to alone or muted. Jumpers let you mount the clamp and the transmitter separately in tight spaces. Boots are colour-coded, and you can name the point in the interface. The control unit and transmitters have built-in batteries — the receiver runs up to 3.5 hours continuously. A charging dock is included for the transmitters.
In the box: 4 transmitters, receiver, over-ear headphones, 4 microphone clamps, 4 jumper leads, zip ties and hook-and-loop straps, charging station, AC adapter and USB cable, colour boots, manual, canvas bag. Sensors and leads are separate items. A different price applies when ordered with a VibroPro stand.
